The alpine romance hotel Wirler Hof is located in Wirl, a part of Galtür in the Tyrolean Paznaun valley in western Austria.
Directly in Wirl, only a few steps away from the hotel, you can enter the Silvapark, the wide and various ski resort of Galtür. Wirl is situated at the Silvretta High Alpine Road and is the last village it passes before winding uphill in the mountains of the Silvretta, reaching the Bielerhöhe on a sea level of 2,032 metres.
From Germany, the countries of the Benelux and eastern Austria you use the Inntal highway (A12, which is E45 and E60).
From western Austria and Switzerland you go through the Arlberg tunnel (S16) or over the Arlberg pass (B197) to get to the Paznaun valley. In summer you can also take the Silvretta high alpine road.
From Italy you reach us over the Reschen pass (B180) or the Brenner pass (A13, which is E45).
The closest traffic and transport interchange is Landeck, about 38 km away from Galtür. Exit there and drive towards Pians, there you take the road to Paznaun and pass the villages of See, Kappl and Ischgl before you finally arrive in Galtür.
You can also come to Galtür travelling by plane or by train.
Go to the Landeck train station, then continue to Galtür by public transport; you can go by taxi or take a bus (Postbus runs a regular bus service from Landeck to Galtür).
